On January 23, 2025, Golden Solar successfully shipped 70MW
of its Hercules JGDN132-0BB modules, officially kicking off
its "Shipping Season" in 2025. This achievement marks another
milestone on the company's path of new energy industry development, following
the full - capacity grid connection of the 200MW Guazhou Project.
As an important participant in the global photovoltaic
industry, Germany installed over 1 million new solar power systems in 2024,
with a new installed capacity of 17GW, an increase of about 10% compared to
2023. Solar systems provided 14% of Germany's electricity consumption, a
significant increase from 12% in 2023. Germany has a solid foundation for the
development of the photovoltaic industry, strong growth momentum, and broad
market prospects.
The Hercules JGDN132-0BB modules of around 100 thousand
pieces supplied to Germany's JS company this time have a maximum mass -
production module efficiency of 23.5%, a bifaciality rate of 90%, and a power
of 730W+. In terms of the cell technology, the latest 0BB + silver - coated
copper + steel mesh printing are adopted. With more regular grid lines, a
better line - width ratio, better line resistance, and lower shading, it
achieves higher efficiency while taking cost reduction into account. In terms of
the module technology, the 0BB dispensing interconnection technology is used,
combined with Golden Solar's HJT cell thinning technology. With its excellent
low - temperature welding process, laminating welding is achieved, enabling
better ohmic contact between the welding wire and the cell and stronger anti -
hot - spot capabilities. Meanwhile, the 0BB design with no main grid, thin
welding wires, low stress, and a low fragmentation rate also provides higher
reliability for the further development of silicon wafer thinning in the
future.
Besides, to further optimize the anti - UV performance,
Hercules series modules adopt an advanced light - conversion film packaging
process. According to Stokes' theory, ultraviolet light below 380nm is
converted into blue light of 400 - 550nm, achieving more efficient CTM.
In terms of reliability, the Hercules series products have
passed the latest version of IEC61215 - 2021 & IEC61730 - 2023
certification tests, obtained MCS certification in the UK, and simultaneously
updated certifications in the Middle East such as in Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
