Golden Solar Powers Gansu's Green Energy Leap with 200MW Project

On 31 December 2024, the 200MW Guazhou Haohua Photovoltaic Project was successfully connected to the grid, injecting new momentum for green development into Guazhou. The smooth grid connection of the project marks a solid step forward for Golden Solar in promoting the energy transformation cause, contributing our strength to accelerating the rise of Guazhou as an energy oasis.


The 200MW Guazhou Haohua Photovoltaic Project is located in the Beidaqiao Industrial Park in Guazhou County. With an average altitude of 1,244m at the site, it boasts abundant sunlight resources and vast territory, having natural advantages for building a centralized power station. The project has a total investment of approximately 1.2 billion yuan. The photovoltaic field covers an area of about 1020 acre, with a total scale of 200MW. All of it adopts our high-efficiency heterojunction modules. After grid connection, the estimated average annual on-grid electricity generation is about 400 million kWh. It can save more than 120,000 tons of standard coal and reduce about 300,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year, bringing significant economic and environmental benefits and making important contributions to the local energy supply and energy structure adjustment.


Guazhou County has an arid climate with strong solar radiation, large temperature differences between day and night, and serious desertification of the surface. The harsh environment also poses higher requirements of modules for weather resistance, wear resistance, component strength, and high-temperature performance.



Our high-efficiency heterojunction modules have outstanding advantages in terms of power generation efficiency stability, equipment durability, and adaptability to extreme weather when dealing with arid climates. In high-temperature environments, the temperature coefficient of our modules is as low as -0.24%/℃, with little performance degradation at high temperatures and stable power generation efficiency. Compared with traditional photovoltaic modules, heterojunction modules have excellent low-light performance, fully using the local abundant sunlight resources and bringing higher power generation revenue to the power station. Our modules use high-strength packaging materials and special coating materials, performing excellently in wind and sand resistance, greatly reducing maintenance costs. With optimized structural design and materials, they have good resistance to mechanical stress and can withstand temperature changes and strong wind impacts. Through optimizing the cell structure and packaging process, they have good PID resistance performance, ensuring long-term stable operation and effectively reducing power generation losses and replacement costs.



In recent years, with profound technological accumulation, we have meticulously created a series of highly competitive photovoltaic products, covering heterojunction cells and modules, fully meeting the application needs of different scenarios. Taking the JGYC-210-0BB HJT double-sided microcrystalline cell as an example, based on core technologies such as thinning, double-sided microcrystalline, and low-silver-containing pastes, the average efficiency of the highest production batch has been increased to 25.6%, and the maximum power of the module can reach 735W+.
